Isn’t this magical, even enchanting? I’m tucked behind a unique serpentine brick wall, under a canopy of ancient Oaks, mature Deodars and stunning Magnolias. This was a historic 14-acre private estate which was donated to the city.

I’m here in the gardens and wanted to share with you one of my favorite places and upcoming event.
Welcome to the labyrinth at Hopelands Gardens. Isn’t this cool?
When life gets complicated, I, along with many people like to unwind with a meaningful meander through a labyrinth. These circular walkways are symbolic of life's many expeditions - the journey from outer turmoil to inner peace.
Now to add to your life’s pleasure, I want to share the good news that the Hopelands Concert Series returns starting April 4th and runs thru June 27th, held every Monday at 6:30 or 7 PM.
Vikki and I love our Aiken community and believe strongly in giving back. For numerous years we sponsor a performance, we are continuing that tradition and will be opening up the concert series on April 4th at 6:30m with “The River Winds Clarinet Quartet”. There are 13 different events in this year’s series.

NOW…. What do you need to bring? YOURSELF, friends or family, a lawn chair or blanket for seating, maybe picnic dinners and something to drink but sorry no alcohol. The concert series is family friendly and there is no cost to attend.
There is Event parking is provided across the street from Hopelands Gardens at the Green Boundary Club 780 Whiskey Road. There is handicap parking is available at Rye Patch on Berrie Road.
