I love my coffee mornings. Do you have
favorite place get your cup of Joe? Wonder how Joe became a slang for a cup of
coffee? If you know share in the
comments below. We asked our friends and subscribers for their input on their
favorite coffee spots in the Aiken area.
There are a lot of “slang words” for a cup of coffee;
let’s see how many we can use in this video…now keep count.
New Moon CafΓ© is definitely a popular hot spot and they say
they make the perfect cup of coffee. We frequent New Moon because it is great
coffee and our office is maybe 250’ feet away. We have one of the cool NEW Moon
annual coffee tumblers. After purchasing
the tumbler, you can get refills for a buck for the year!

NOLA coffee shop is our second stop to get a cup of “Dirt or Mud”. No way does this describe NOLA’s coffee at
all. Its coffee is made with New Orlean’s love and
you can the taste smooth French roast flavor. Nola is located very near
Aiken Tech and Langley Pond and has cute cafΓ© to relax in or if you’re in a
hurry they have a drive-thru option.

Heading towards Historic Aiken there are few
options there. Or are you that person who runs on Dunkin for your brew? Yay
or nay? Maybe, it is just the donuts you love? “America runs on Dunkin” is great
slogan. Brandi and I create these videos to keep community awareness on a range
of topics from businesses, charities, events, and real estate trends! If you

Heading to a newer
coffee spot there has been a lot of buzz about.
Union Park Coffee, we have heard lots of compliments on their “Cuppa”
or “Go Juice” as some call it. It has a cool, vintage vibe and is right across
from the Aiken Train Depot on Park Ave SE. It is a great place to hang out and
is a clear winner in that category.

Or do you head
for the big-name brand like Starbucks? There are 3 locations here in
Aiken for your “Jitter Juice” or “Bean Juice”. Southside Aiken on Whiskey Rd,
in Kroger on Whiskey next to Home Depot or USCA cafeteria. We know where lots
of the students get their “Brain Juice”.
Another cozy
coffee place in downtown Aiken is Polo Grounds.
Have you enjoyed a
cup of “High Octane or “Wakey Juice”? Coffee my is my “wakey juice” and they
serve a pleasing cup of coffee and you can relax inside or out. Polo
Grounds is located just off Laurens St. NW. on Barnwell Ave.
McDonald’s has it’s die hard coffee fans too! It
is easy, fast and an affordable way to get your “Morning Jolt or Liquid Energy”.
How many more ways can you say coffee? Caffeine
Infusion, Cupped Lighting, Leaded and Unleaded. Rocket Fuel, Worm Dirt. Really,
we all want a cup of worm dirt. Never heard of these and someone can explain this
last one we just put up.
