Augusta News near Exit 1. Construction has begun on a new multi-use development
called “The Hive,” found on West Martintown Road at Exit 1. “The Hive” is a
master-planned community designed with the concept of a place where you can live,
work, and play.
This huge
project…Spanning 175 acres, will feature an apartment complex, houses, and
townhomes. Currently, only the infrastructure and residential space plans have
been approved, with the townhome plans still pending. This will be considered
as the Gateway to N. Augusta from Georgia. “The Hive” will also include a large
commercial space. There are many rumors about which businesses would be coming.
